Collection Methodology

Experian draws on a massive base of knowledge accumulated during five decades in business. Experian is the only data provider sourcing all of our data directly. We maintain a wealth of information about consumers and how they make buying decisions. We compile data from more than 1500 public and propriety sources. Experian is an original source compiler of auto, DMV registration data. Other sources include self-reported data, location data, aggregated panel data, websites that have permission to share information about visitors, public records and historical retail purchases that are collected offline and then brought online through propriety online data partnerships.
